A Tucson chorus. More than 100 women. One extraordinary honor.
In June 2027, AWC will return to Normandy, France, to participate in the D-Day Memorial Parade and Ceremony. Selected from more than 500 choirs nationwide, we are honored to once again represent Tucson and the U.S. This historic event will mark the 85th anniversary of the liberation of France during World War II and the final Historic Tours celebration of D-Day. Through music, we will honor the veterans whose courage and sacrifice helped secure the freedoms we enjoy today.
Help every voice make the journey
For our 100+ female members, this is far more than a performance. It is an opportunity to stand together in Normandy, honor those who served, and carry the voices of Tucson to an international stage. AWC provides scholarship assistance to members who may need help with chorus dues and trip expenses. Your donation can help ensure financial circumstances do not prevent a woman from participating in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
