Support Us on Giving Tuesday!

A special message from Janelle White, AWC Board President

Dear Friends of the Arizona Women’s Chorus,

We are so grateful for your support these past years. Thanks to you, we have been able to reach more people, recruit more singers, and even commission new pieces for women’s voices. Our reputation is growing, and we are bringing the joy of song to many more people. We couldn’t have made it past the COVID pandemic had it not been for you.

First, an Update on Our Progress

Our board of directors has grown and includes singers and non-singing community members. Our many volunteers provide critical backstopping and support behind the scenes. Our wonderful conductor, Terrie Ashbaugh, continues to wow us with her repertoire selections, entertain, and inspire us at our weekly rehearsals. We are on our way to achieving our mission: To be a premier women’s chorus with empowered singers inspiring a wide range of audiences. With your continued support, we can make this happen.

There is even more exciting news! This year Terrie is an invited guest conductor in London. Many of our members will be going with her to perform in St. Paul’s Church, and then in Bath, under the direction of the internationally acclaimed conductor / composer John Rutter. We are so excited to be part of this and proud of Terrie for reaching this level of excellence in her career.
