Due to difficulties recruiting singers, the trip to Greece has been cancelled.
However, we have some great news: In lieu of the Greece trip, Terrie has been offered the opportunity to be a guest conductor in London for the last 10 days in June (the 21st –30th). The massed choir portion of the program will be conducted by John Rutter, performing his Gloria and Te Deum. We will rehearse daily in the mornings and then enjoy tours to places such as Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace. The cost of the trip, $3400, covers some food (one breakfast and one dinner), lodging, ground transportation in England, tips, taxes, and tours, but NOT airfare to London.
Terrie will be conducting ALL WOMEN performing a variety of a cappella pieces at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Among these pieces would likely be songs we performed in France, along with about three additional pieces.
